For action movie lovers, Raangi is a treat. A romantic thriller with a woman-centric lead role and storyline, this story penned by A.R.Murugadoss is bound to be a hit with the masses.

Trisha dons an intriguing and bold look in this film. She is seen sporting a gun and literally kicking ass while rescuing a young girl from the villains. Partially shot in the streets of Uzbekistan, the movie has gripping visuals to keep your heart racing along. Raangi, which literally translates to haughtiness, depicts Trisha in powerful role.

Director M.Saravanan of Engeyum Eppothum has successfully made an action movie that is not cheap or generic. There is plenty of drama, mystery, desperation, anger, seediness, and danger throughout the film to keep everyone watching glued to the screen. Well-crafted Kollywood style dialogues and balanced characters are sure to take the movie’s message to the masses.

KA Sakthivel’s cinematography is one of the film’s strengths. The close-ups, the panning, and the angles work together to enhance emotions of the characters and even invite you to feel the same. C.Sathya is the film’s music director.

Produced by Lyca Productions, this movie is definitely one of Trisha’s best performances.  It is a well produced entertainment package, which is definitely worth a watch.
